CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY
What is Cranial Sacral Therapy?
Cranial Sacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of whole body evaluation and treatment that has a positive impact on nearly every system within the body. It is proven clinically effective in facilitating the body's ability to self-heal. It provides extraordinary results. Cranial Sacral therapy helps normalize the environment on the cranial sacral system, a core physiological system that extends from the skull, face, and mouth down to the sacrum and coccyx. It sonsists of a compartment formed by the dura mater membrane, the cerebrospinal fluid contained within, the systems that regulate the fluid flow, the bones that attach the membranes, and the joint sutures that interconnect these bones.
What Does Cranial Sacral Therapy Feel like?
Janelle will spend a few moments aligning her own cranial sacral beat with her clients by using slight touch and deep focus on the clients cranium, this beat is very subdle, only 8-10 beats per minute. After becoming aquainted with her clients natural flow, and aligning it with her own, Janelle will move through out the cranium, spine, and pelvis touching specific points and holding completely still. Within the initial occupital holds, most clients will gently glide off in to a meditative state as the brain naturally resets itself. The session is extremely gentle and relaxing and feels like a uplifting, recharging and spiritual nap, if you can imagine that. Cranial Sacral Therapy is deeply healing, and as a energy medicine healer, Reiki will flow right right along with your cranial sacral threatment.

REIKI
What does REIKI feel like?
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can benefit from. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
Janelle trained with a Master Reiki teacher that considers Reiki the best martial art known to man. Like Tai-Kwon-DO is a "way of life" Janelle learned the master artistry of "Reiki-DO," as a way of life!
A fun fact: It is rumored that Master Jesus himself used Reiki as his healing modality!
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
PRENATAL MASSAGE
What is Prenatal Massage?
A technique involving deep bodywork designed to improve your circulation, take some of the strain off your muscles and joints, and generally re-energize you.
What are the benefits of Pretanal Massage?
Anyone who's ever had a professional massage (whether pregnant or not) knows that both body and mind feel better after a rubdown. Scads of studies show that massage can reduce stress hormones in your body and relax and loosen your muscles. It can also increase blood flow, which is so important when you're pregnant, and keep your lymphatic system working at peak efficiency, flushing out toxins from your body. And it reconnects your mind with your body, a connection that's comforting for those of you who suspect an alien has taken up residence inside of you.
Note:
Janelle specializes in working with prenatal women, fathers to be, babies, and children. Janelle also holds private sessions with couples to introduce special massage strokes the father to be can provide his mate with, to help aid her in relaxation and build intimacy between partners in this special time of their lives.

CLASSICAL MASSAGE
What is Swedish Massage?
Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
